The Parthenon in Nashville {and FREE Field Trip Reflections Printable}

We tend to go on several field trips throughout the year, and what I have learned that the girls do not always remember things from each outing.  I know this is normal because I don't know anyone who remembers everything they learned in a visit to a place.  For this visit, I decided I would help them retain a bit of information by having them bring a Field Trip Reflection page which I created. Upon arriving at the Parthenon, I had them write down a few questions about what they wanted to learn on this field trip.  The main question was "What is the Parthenon?"

Out & About :: Gaylord Opryland ICE!

During the holiday season, the girls and I experienced ICE! at Gaylord Opryland for the first time.  Since this was our first encounter with the ice sculpture exhibit, I truly did not know what to expect.

When I read the description of the event online, my mind only focused on the Nutcracker part of the title.  In my mind, I had us prepared to see a theatrical performance or something.  ICE! Nutcracker was not that at all.

Out & About:: Made South Market

The girls and I enjoyed a different type of field trip last week.  We had the opportunity to visit the Made South Holiday Market thanks to Vanessa at Daily Delivered and Made South for the free tickets.

Made South provides a venue for southern artists.  We met artists from Tennessee, Florida, and South Carolina.  This event has happened twice in Franklin.  This was the events first time being held at The Factory in Franklin, TN.
